About the event
Knowing what to do if your route doesn't quite go to plan is a vital skill!
Our 1 and 2 day courses are tailored completely to you and will cover a range of aspects with improvised self rescue. Most importantly it will equip you with the skills to avoid and overcome problems using only gear that you would normally carry on your rack!
Course Content
- Tying off a belay plate.
- Assited & Unassited hoists.
- Second climbs past a runner.
- Escaping the system in reach & out of reach.
- Decsending down to your second.
- Retreating off multipitch routes.
Above is just a few of the scenarios that will be covered and practiced.
Our experience and knowledgable Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI) can take you to any climbing venue in the UK, including mountain crags or sea cliffs, in North Wales, Lake District or Dartmoor to name a few.
