Our Home Education Rock Climbing Sessions will give you the opportunity to learn some new skills, build confidence and trust whilst working as a team to problem solve your way to the top ! You will have the chance to learn basic climbing skills like how to belay & Tie-in.
Our Parent & Child Indoors Climbing session will give you the opportunity to learn some new skills and build confidence and trust in each other as you work as a team to problem solve your way to the top ! You will have the chance to learn basic climbing skills.
These sessions are the perfect opportunity to learn the foundation skills towards becoming an independent navigator. The perfect opportunity to get out walking on the moors and discover new places, learning about Dartmoor and nature along the journey. Children will have the opportunity to gain ODA, if they attend 3 or more sessions.
Little Legs Weaselling and Scrambling is the perfect session to get your little ones (18 months to 6 years) outdoors and active. These fun session include scrambling over small rocks and Weaselling / crawling through short tunnels and passages within the rocks. Children will be improving their mobility and strength through increased agility, balance, coordination.
Our Kids Rock Club is a fortnightly rock climbing club that takes place at various locations around Dartmoor.
During the session children will be shown how to tie in and belay each other safely and work towards becoming independent climbers. There will also be movement coaching from our qualified Rock Climbing Instructors.
Our Orienteering Adventure Session is a full day made up of a morning orienteering treasure hunt. The children will be taught basic orienteering skills to find the markers needed for our challenge in the afternoon.
The afternoons activity is using all the various items they found in the morning to take part in Climbing and Abseiling.
